Abocinador: El abocinador es una herramienta que sirve para trabajar la tubería flexible;
es la que expansiona o abocarda en formación cónica los extremos del tubo que han de apoyarse sobre los chaflanes de la conexión.
Existen diversos modelos y todos se basan en el mismo principio. Constan de dos partes, una fija y otra móvil, la parte fija es un bloque metálico dividido en dos mitades iguales que giran a charnela (bisagra), además tienen una serie de orificios graduados exactamente al diámetro exterior de las tuberías a expansionar; la parte móvil se compone de un mandril cónico que se desplaza por medio de un maneral y sirve para centrar al tubo a expansionar.
